Creative X-Fi Gaming Mod

After some serious cable tidying, it was all done. Time to take some glory pictures.









But the story doesn’t end there. This system had to be delivered to Creative Labs' office in Dublin, Ireland. So I packed it up like a tank knowing the trip it had in store. But all the preparation in the world couldn’t protect my baby from the rigors of intercontinental travel and it had been damaged in transit from the States to Creative.

Rather than ship it all the way back and risk more damage, we decided the best thing would be to send it to Dave Williams, our Macro Man, in the UK. Even though I was gutted that my creation that I had spent hours and hours of work creating had been broken, I quickly counted my blessings that not only did I have a colleague in the UK that could work on it, but one that I could trust.

Dave had to make a few changes to fix the gaming system.
